Tosh's Ramen

Tosh's Ramen

1465 State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84115

TL;DR

- Price: $10 - $15 per person (with                   beverage)
- Flavor: Bold
- Filling?: Yes
- Parking: Tough

Pro-tip: slurping is good when you're eating ramen. No need to be self-conscious.

I pulled around the block three times before I could find parking on a Saturday around Noon.

Tosh's Ramen is located in a small plaza next to multiple eating establishments (including a Dim Sum place) which means it may be difficult to find parking during prime eating hours. You may have to park on the street.

There is a sign-in sheet at the front, showing the high volume of traffic the restaurant gets. If you're alone, as I was that fateful day, you may sit at the counter and effectively skip the wait-time.

The Karai Ramen (pictured above) was really good. The noodles are incredible. It was spicy but walked the line of Just Spicy Enough. The pork was flavorful and complemented the noodles nicely. The egg half sealed the deal: I will definitely return.

2nd Anonymous Source: It was good but not really my cup of tea. The broth was very thick and flavorful. It was really filling. The chef came out to ask how everything tasted, which was very considerate.
