Thai Chilli Restaurant

Thai Chilli Restaurant

872 State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

TL;DR
- Price: $10 - 15 per person
- Flavor: Spicy
- Filling?: Yes
- Parking: Good

Bear in mind, Thai Chilli is located in the back of Ocean City Market. Not behind it, but you go inside the market and it'll be at the back.

It is located in what could be a greenhouse, so keep that in mind when choosing your seating arrangements (sun).

Pro-tip: Don't go less spicy than you can handle. I think the flavor becomes less pronounced the milder you go.

I was advised to order the pork Thai Satay (pictured above). I really liked the portion and flavor (4 big skewers for $5.99!). Satay Pro-tip: Don't try to de-skewer the meat if it isn't easy the first time. You will end up sending something flying. Just eat it off the skewer.

The Pad Pak Ruam Mit was very filling. It wasn't drenched in sauce, giving it a very light, fresh flavor. The beef was a little tough, but still tasty.

My primary concern is their speed and whether or not they can handle large amounts of traffic. There weren't very many people when I went, but they said they were behind due to a big to-go order. Perfectly reasonable, but bear that in mind if you're looking for something quick.
